THE CYPRESS DOME

The Problem:
The Cypress Dome is an annual collection of short stories, poems, and artwork submitted by students. The producers of the collection asked the 2019 graphic design students to help design the interior and exterior of the book.

Ideation:
We were given plenty of research material since this was the 30th issue of the collection. The group finalizing the book's publication gave us a few pieces to work with for the cover, spine, and back.

Execution:
I chose the piece titled "Window" by Kaleigh Dandeneau that I felt spoke volumes. My design helped amplified the window aspect of the piece as I treated each story as a window into the writer or artist's essence.
