DESIGNER BOOKLET: MASSIMO & LELLA VIGNELLI

The Problem:
Design a 20+ page booklet detailing the life and work of a famous graphic designer(s). Designers were assigned and not chosen. The booklet must reflect the famous designer's unique style and highlight their iconic work.

Ideation:
Before the book was even sketched up, I had to conduct extensive research on the Vignellis and their work. Their combined style is inspiring and lead me to create a booklet focused on Lella's style of subtractive design philosophy and Massimo's minimalist philosophy.

Execution:
To properly reflect and respect their work, I designed with negative space in mind. I used a limited color palette, only two typefaces, and provided photos of their best work.
